Note to Katrina Victims

Due to the devastating effects of Katrina, Wheelchair Getaways of the Gulf Coast was unable to operate for several months. Our physical office in Pearlington, MS was destroyed, as well as many of our vehicles. Fortunately, we are back in business and are happy to be able to provide wheelchair accessible transportation to those so desperately in need.

As we are in the early stages of rebuilding, it is imperative that customers call as far in advance as possible, so that we may insure availability. I would also like to remind our customers that we do accept any third party payment, including insurance, vocational rehabilitation, and philanthropic donations. Please see our links page for a list of government organizations that may be able to help during these difficult times.

Wheelchair Getaways is devoted to providing quality van rentals throughout the country, including the Gulf Coast. We look forward to serving you.
